We were going snorkeling and wanted to be able to take pictures under water without ruining our other digital cameras. I saw good reviews online for this and thought I would give it a try. For $12, it was an excellent buy! The pictures weren't nearly as high quality as a digital camera would give you, but for what I paid for it, I am happy.
