It is packed full with information, plus it has links to their web for more information and downloadable maps. This is a great value and will inspire anyone to get outdoors and start hiking. A few less ads would make the magazine better, but for those who complain about the political edge, Backpacker has a long tradition of EXCELLENT outdoors-related political commentary.
